  • Akima Ume Garden Festival

    About 35,000 trees of Ume (Japanese plum) with red and white colors bloom spreading over the large hilly area of about 50 ha. During the festival, various events including photo shoots of models, Japanese drum performance, pounding mochi (rice cake) and so on will be organized.

  • Haruna Ume Festival

  • Misato Ume Festival

  • Tatebayashi “Ohinasama” Festival

    Across 10 places in the city, various 2,000 Hina dolls including seven-steps-decoration of Hina, wooden dolls, small Hina dolls, “Kyoho-bina” which was in fashion in the Edo Period welcome you.

  • Stone Steps Hina Festival

    This festival is annually held to celebrate the Doll’s Festival at Ikaho Onsen. Pre-school children with beautiful Hina costumes and light make-up line on the special tiered doll stand which utilized the stone steps covered with scarlet felt mat.

Adonis, Dogtooth Violet

  • Dogtooth Violet and Cherry Blossom Festival

    “Iwajuku no Sato” is known for Iwajuku ruins and also for dogtooth violet growing in colonies which is one of the famous area in Kanto Region. Purple flowers bloom on the hilly area of Mt. Inari. Also, cherry blossoms at the bank of a marsh nearby can be enjoyed from early April, right after the flowering time of dogtooth violet and are lit up in nighttime.

  • Tatebayashi Sakura Festival

    About 650 cherry trees in total of 4 places in Tatebayashi City are in bloom. Combination of cherry blossoms with carp streamers which are raised during the same period in daytime and fantastic scenery of flower which are lit up by paper lanterns in nighttime can be enjoyed.

  • Cherry Blossom at Shikishima Park

    From early April cherry blossoms including Someiyoshino and weeping cherry bloom and you can enjoy its contrast with pine grove within the park. The park also holds ponds for boat riding and fishing where you can admire cherry blossoms reflecting on the surface. Weeping cherries are lit up when they are in bloom.

  • Akagi Nanmen Senbonzakura Festival

    It boasts a 2 km road lined with a row of cherry trees that has been counted as one of the 100 famous places for cherry blossom in Japan. “Miyagi Senbonzakura no Mori” has recently made nearby with charming carpet of moss phlox which create splendid scenery in company with cherry blossoms.

  • Shibukawa City Comprehensive Park Cherry Blossom Light-up

    For the park is located higher than the city town, cherry blossom can be enjoyed in slightly later season. The park boasts 3,000 cherry trees including 1,500 Someiyoshino trees. They will be lit up in nighttime.

  • Numata Park Cherry Blossom Festival

    1,500 paper lanterns are lighted at Numata park where boasts about 210 cherry trees. Bell tower and “Goten-zakura” which age is said to be over 400 years are beautifully lit up toward evening.

  • Cherry Blossom in Mt. Myogi

    It is a spot for cherry blossom viewing utilizing the hilly area at the foot of Mt. Myogi. It boasts over 5,000 cherry trees with about 45 varieties including Someiyoshino and double cherry blossom. You can enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms for about a month since each variety has slightly different flowering time.

  • Daffodil Festival

    Higashiagatsuma Town is one of Japan’s leading producing area of daffodil. From Late March to Mid-April, you can see yellow color of daffodil across the town. At "Daffodhil Festival" held at Iwai Shinsui Park along Agatsumagawa River, Yellow flowers of Daffodhil, with pink blossoms of cherry trees along the river create the picturesque scenery.
